Bylaws Change Approved – Ratification Sought at Conference

Bookmark and Share

The NAID Board of Directors has approved a bylaws change that ensures the association’s growing international membership a voice.  The change creates two more Director’s seats on the Board, resulting in a total of 3 Directors seats to be filled by each of NAID’s recognized international chapters: NAID-Europe, NAID-Canada and NAID-Australasia. One Director’s position on the Board is already set aside for firms that pay the maximum amount of dues.  Four of the eight Directors seats, those not set aside to guarantee minority representation, will be filled by representatives from companies with operations not served by a dedicated Director position.

Additionally, the Board of Directors has approved a change that will move the appointment of the nominating committee from the first meeting of the new Board to the second meeting of the new Board after each annual membership meeting.
