2010 NAID Annual Conference Taps Experts

2010 NAID Annual Conference planners have released more details of what they promise will be the most exciting industry event in years.  As Conference Chair Susan Casias explains “After identifying the featured presentations for this year’s event, which has twice as many as last year, we decided to find the foremost authorities on those subjects to give the presentations.”

According to Ms. Casias, “We started by bringing in Frank Abagnale, the most recognized authority on Identity Theft, to give the Keynote address.  We then extended that approach to every featured presentation.”

Indeed they did.  For instance, the session “Making the Most of Google AdWords”, is presented by Todd Miechiels, one of the foremost authorities on the subject.  For the session titled “Exhibit Like an Expert”, conference planners were able to line up Susan Ratliff, author of the book by the same title and regarded by many as the leading authority on the subject.

Of course, finding the best person to present on data destruction topics did not require every presenter to be from outside the industry.  As an example, a big part of the success of Shred First was their ability to acquire regional competitors.  Given that, who better than one of that company’s founders, Nick Wildrick, to present “Oh Yes You Can: How to Buy a Local Competitor (or how to sell to one)”—sharing with attendees real world strategies for using the same approach to growth.

The 2010 NAID Annual Conference & Expo will be held at March 3-5, 2010 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Complete details will be posted on December 1st. At that time the Conference Brochure will also be mailed to the entire industry database.
