Return of NAID Growth Sign of Recovery

Bookmark and Share

With the abrupt financial downturn last October, the rate of new member growth at NAID slowed dramatically from 18 per month to around 3 per month.  Therefore, it is significant that since the start of the new fiscal year, the association’s growth rate has climbed to 21 new members per month.

This is another indication that the economic slowdown, which also had a dramatic impact on NAID’s vendor members, is turning around.  The 2010 NAID Annual Conference planning committee is also interpreting this trend in NAID member growth as an indication of record attendance in Las Vegas next March 3rd-5th

According to Dustin McKissen, NAID’s Chief Operating Officer, “Historically conference attendance has had a direct correlation to membership growth. When you combine that with the fact that the event will be held in Las Vegas, we have every reason to believe that 2010 attendance will reach an all time high.”

Additionally, year-to-date sales of 2010 exhibit space have exceeded that of any prior year. Suppliers of products and services interested in exhibiting at the 2010 NAID Annual Conference are encouraged to act quickly.
