Realtor Eyed in Release Of Hundreds of People’s Private Data

According to a report posted to the website of Denver, CO-based KDVR on July 26th, apartment dwellers in Parker, CO, became alarmed when they discovered boxes of personal information discarded in the facility’s dumpster. 

The report describes how the TV Station showed up to investigate and found that the files were real estate documents, containing credit reports, bank account information, social security numbers and personal checks. 

When notified, the Parker Police investigated further and ultimately found 30 boxes of files, with as many as 300 or more victims.  In the report, a spokesman for the Colorado Division of Real Estate expressed outrage.
